Question
Wire AWG. Is 14 instead of 16 a bad idea?

I am buying parts for a tricopter and the 16 awg wire that was recommended to me is out of stock. I will be running 18a escs on 750kv motors with a 3S 25-35c 2200mah battery. My question is if I go with a 14awg instead of a 16 awg am I risking anything? Should I go 18awg instead of 14?

Electrically it is no problem. In fact it is even better because the wire will have less resistance. The downside is that the 14 awg wire will be a little heavier. But I seriously doubt the slight increase in weight will be a factor.
