I think most were trying to ignore your post to keep it on topic , Please no bashing in here. I understand you like the plane as do I but there was no need for the last part of your post

Focus people back on the plane topic. It's Saturday we might actually get a video submitted on this plane I hope.

What about servo recommendation (sticking with what HK have to offer)?

Apparently the servo holes are sized for Hitec HS-65MG's, but according to the flight reports these dont have enough torque. Best option I've seen on HK is the ones used by Dean on the official build.

Turnigy Digital high torque bearing servo 16.2g/3.1kg/.16sec these seem to be re badges of the excellent Savox SH-0255MG which is high praise indeed.

I've got four of these in my spares box which should do the job but will need the holes opening up a little:
Turnigy 380MAX Micro Servo (Metal Gear) 4.1kg / .16sec / 17.4g (mine are the Bluebird badged version)

HS 65 MG will NOT do on this plane...Unless you intend to sport fly...

i go with the Airtronics 94761Z, strong and fast
http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/airtronics/94761z
enlarge the holes a little is needed.

as for motor, the axi 2826 is way too long.
the hacker a30-12xl is a little long too, but thats what i will use.
think the motorfly is a great choice as its a little lighter too.

its not like we aren't used to delays with videos anyways

Can't believe a delay is two days these days, man I remember the 6-8 weeks of when stuff would come in the mail and it would never come before the 6.

Should have been here. They often send me stuff UPS. It gets here in 3 days. They said it was going UPS. YEah, the postal or EMS takes weeks... I hate it for the regular orders...

Questions I would love answered form somebody who has it already:

1) what is the distance in MM from the firewall to the front of the cowl. I've gotten an answer of 1.875" already but verification would be great.

2) What are the dimensions of the servo holes.

3) Did it come single or double boxed. (what shipping method did you choose)

4) if you ordered electronics, did they pack the electronics in the box with it?

My hand is hovering on the buy, but I've never purchased a plane straight from china before.

KE, from the Firewall to front of cowl, this lets you know how long of a motor is needed.
