I used 2mm threaded solder adapters and epoxied in 2mm carbon rod, sand the end of the rod down slightly or open up the solder socket with a 2mm drill, it's a rock solid joint. The ball links then screw onto the M2 threaded adapter.

I used these (with washers between everything)

I used steal threaded M2 rod for my pushrods. Epoxied one side and thread screwed the other. Very strong and still adjustable.

Planning to sell off slick 'as is' for anyone interested, but I might end up building it if there are no takers. Kinda lost interest with the slick after all the fiasco I had with the posties and HK. Still have my skywing, 3dhs and PA birds to keep me occupied, so it doesn't really matter. Though if Steve has indeed for the 'cure' for the wing drop I might just build it and fly it like stole it
Oh Ok cool.I now remember you said screw it,your fed up with posties and HK regarding this.
Have you got the Skywing MXS?they are awsome planes.I got one aswell, though it needs some repair work.I must get my lazy ass into gear and fix it up.they are awsome huckers.
Peter I used 2mm CF rod and 2mm ball links from HK.the CF is epoxied into the ball link.and used M2 bolts with washers and 2 nut locking against eachother with some threadlock

Should I build my FPV setup, or this plane, after I get my daughter's fun cub built?

I'd go bigger than that. If you have a bigger egress than ingress for air, there will be negative pressure, and it will be less likely that your canopy will fall off. At least that is my understanding.

If you have a canopy that works with magnets maybe so.but this is more than sufficient.I get good airflow.if my canopy comes off, that will mean the whole fuse will have to basically shatter in midair....so don't have the problem with pressure.
Steve can you maybe repost your vent for us.I do think you did when we discussed it at the timejust so we can compare

I've got 40 flights on mine and I have ZERO air outlet. Same on my Money shot and E-flite Extra 300.

My motor get's hot, but that's more because I'm pushing it very hard. Nothing else is even warm.
