Consolidating all of the Marblehead Class National Championship results from this year onto a single page, here are the 2012 Results: within the U.S.A.

Keep in mind these boats did not sail together, so scores are not applicable between the various groups.
For privacy's Sake, only Skippers initials are used. Design names are listed where available.

It appears the 'Skalpel' is the most sailed design, 4 out of the 27 listed.
For us that look forward and not backward, I would bet the 2013 MH Nationals will have more of the same and a few new designs.
The IOM is the focus right now for the top RC sailors yet the support is there for the MH, Just need someone like 'Breakwater' to take the tiller and get us a venue.

I could have chose to sail a "Madcap" bringing that design equal to the Skapel in terms of how many skippers sailing it. In terms of boat speed... yeah, we know.

Anyways the whole point of Consolodating the list shows that the Modern boats keep developing "Forward" and those boats from the past aren't laid-up, they are actively sailed.
All Ms fit somewhere in the roster, all it takes is someone to get them to come to the pond.

"If you build it, they will come"
27 people sailed in M-Class "Major" events this year. Even though they are all different it sure would be nice to see the class act as one.

There's 50 states in the USA.
But, I hear Texas is going to seceed....

Nope!
Do you have any photos, or is this something you are trying to get information on yourself?

Glad to hear about "Another M!"

I assumed it might be something different since it was spelled incorrectly, but.... realistically you're probably right that he's asking about the Skalpel

If that's actually the case, here's some videos about the Skapel.

Perhaps those that own one will share some additional information on it.

Walicki Skalpel 3733 Servo and butterfly demo (0 min 17 sec)

Here's one for sale:

Toni - any chance you paid attention to - or recall, the small colored tubing on one photo of the deck? They look like they may have been used as "bowsies" - but I could be wrong. With so much "activity" going on in the deck "accessories" - if you didn't pay attention - no problem. Just thought I would ask.

Dick

It is the 5th. photo or the one captioned as "How Do Ya?"
