2012 New England Aerotow set for May 18, 19 & 20 in Salem, CT
New England Aerotow 2012
Scale Soaring in the Connecticut skies as we host our annual three day weekend of AMA-sanctioned scale sailplane aero tow from a beautiful flying site in Salem, CT Towing from a manicured grass field, the surrounding farm fields and rural terrain produces great thermal activity!
Tow fee: $30 for three days, $15 for any one day. Hot lunch and beverages available for purchase at the field

Directions: N 41 29.497, W 72 13.585 -- From intersection of CT Routes 85 & 82, go East on Rt. 82 approx 3 miles. The entrance to the field is on the right. If you come to Rt. 354 (Gardner Lake) you have gone ¼ mile too far. From I-395 take Exit 80, Rt. 82 toward Salem. The field is about 6 miles on the left, ¼ mile past Rt. 354.

Now that the Cumberland Spring Soar For Fun is in it's final day, next event up in the east is the NE event in Salem, CT.
The field is looking great, the tugs are ready. We're looking forward to welcoming another big crowd in 2012.

Just a reminder that the New England Scale Sailplane Aerotow is set for this coming weekend, May 18-19-20 at the RC Propbusters field in Salem, CT.
We're getting a great turnout with folks from DE, PA, MD, WV, CT, NY, MA, RI and a few other locations! Should be a good crowd flying, a bunch of spectators, food for sale at the field, 50/50, raffle, etc. Any sailplane that can be aertowed and all electric-power sailplanes are welcome. No winches or hi-starts.
I hope you can join us or stop by for a visit!
