Nine Eagles J6 Transmitter Appendix 1

Is this for real or what? From J6-Manual-2

---
I need to know how to play with the J6 transmitter and to be sure that I don't reset to factory default. First I want to copy the existing SP100D-280A (Mode 2) to another memory (to save a good copy) so I can play with the trim tabs and not have them go away when I turn the J6 off,

J6 manual-3 on NE site (doesn't have 6 page "Nine Eagles J6 Transmitter Appendix 1" at end

My J6 is like this one, doesn't say"Futaba Code Inside" and maybe different screws holding the stick modules in.
Same size switches in same locations, with same labels.

Where did you find this appendix? It is good info but I just took a look at the J6 that came with the SP180 I got from HK last week and as far as I can tell, there is only one model memory. Can choose heli or aircraft and no options to pick a different model memory or save, copy, etc. Curious that manual-2 has this appendix but the manual-3 you linked to and the one that came in my box doesn't.

I'm thinking this might apply only to the ones that say "Futaba code inside"? It would be nice to be able to use this TX with another NE heli or plane if I ever wanted to but don't think the unit I have is capable of doing so?

What would be really nice is if someone would make one of these micros that would bind with the nice Futaba TX I already have for my 450.

Downloaded several versions of the J6 manual in PDF format. The one with the "Nine Eagles J6 Transmitter Appendix 1" was very clean and easiest to read.

1/20/2012 is the date that I saved J6 Manual-2 with the appendix.
1/26/2012 is the date that I saved J6 Manual-3 from Nine Eagles site.

I don't know where I downloaded the J6 Manual-2 with the appendix and thought it might be something that doesn't exist yet. The clarity of the PDF is outstanding, perhaps because it is greyscale with red highlighting.

Tried "Model parameter copy setup" and get an "A" for "model number which has been copied" and a "5" for "model NO which needs to be
copied" whatever that means. The J6 came with the SP100D-280A.

EDIT: First set Communication Protocol R-0 for old 4 Channel and less or R-1 for new protocol
EDIT: CP = Model Copy function.
EDIT: The "A" is likely an "R" for receiving a new model from another transmitter.
EDIT: The "5" is likely an "S" for sending model data to another transmitter.
EDIT: Pressing C button shows "--------" meaning it is (R)eceiving or (S)ending data.

I got brave and went in to the J6 and changed some parameters and worked my way through the menu's without causing a factory default reset. This is all new to me and was hoping someone knew if this thing has 10 model memories or not.

Well, I messed with this some more and it's not working for me. I can get to the screen with the blinking CP and going into it displays an "A" but that's it. Turning the dial doesn't change anything and if I do press C, it shows - - - - and again, it can't be changed.

At least I didn't wipe everything out.

Any info in that manual-2 that shows how to get to the idle up throttle curve menu?

Found it. Now I don't have to post it

The site - under SP100D-280A

Helipad also shows a version of the SP100D-280A with supports on the tail boom. First time I've seen that - may be old, may be new.

This transmitter will bind with all Nine Eagles 2.4Ghz helicopters. Every transmitter has been tested and bound to a Nine Eagles 2.4ghz helicopter prior to shipping. Rick does it again?

As far as I know the NE-24TX only binds with all NE 2.4 GHz helis that were being produced at the time this TX was released. Not with the newer versions, like the 100D. Rick seems to have forgotten to update the info, or deemed that unnecessary as this TX is out of stock anyway...

Just discovered that j6 pro has adjustable tension on pot`s springs.
PS.Does all the j6 pro have LCD backlight?I bought mine second hand and thought that is defective so I open it and saw that never had from the factory, maybe is an early version?

Need help with the mixes

I bought the J6 to tame down my micro fixed wing Nineagles warbirds. It did a great job with dual rates and expo, but I haven't been able to figure out their "English" instructions for mixes.
Can someone help?
Thanks,
