Thanks for the comments! It's so nice to be able to share them with people who actually love this stuff as much as I do as I don't know anyone into planes, everyone around here loves cars!
I will have to get some good shots with my brothers 11 megapixel camera (yes 11!)

Any comments with regards to alternative powertrain setup? (Mega, geared, etc) Or is the recomended Phasor setup pretty effective already?

I received my setup as a gift (which inlcuded the motor) so I am just going to stick with the Jeti. I'm sure there are many motors that would fit and be a good alternative. I have NOT flown mine yet (although it's ready!) the weather has just been terrible around here, but HL says the Jeti motor will provide 70mph straight and level flight with 1100 fpm climbs with hot aerobatics, so sounds pretty good. If you haven't seen their video yet it's here >>

I don't know about 70mph, but it's pretty quick, and more than adequate for this model. Instead of a hotter motor, I've been pondering 10 cells and a slightly smaller prop. I don't know, though.. I'm in no hurry, but curious to see what other people come up with. This model needs to fly quickly, pattern-like..

Sure.. if someone wants to provide one for me..
10 cells would give you quite a bit more power (but reduced duration).. ..a |

Tip for those pics - if you stand much further away and use zoom, you won't get the edges of the paper like that.
Nice color scheme.. I really ought to do something like that with mine.. ..a |

Hey thanks Andy, I can't wait to fly her! (or is it a him?....) Anyway I just happened to have the plane in my car while at my bothers photo studio (he's a photographer www.WilliamHicks.com) so I just grabbed the first camera I saw and shot it quickly, this was only 6 MP not the 11 MP one, and I had it on manual focus

Andy-
I'm getting ready to glue the wingtips on my Dynamic and was wondering if Probond sticks to the covering film, or do I need to trim the covering back a little to give the Probond some obeechi to bond to? RF |

I trimmed the covering, it will stick to the wood much better. It also acts as a guide when you glue so you know how far to slide them on. I'm sure it would stick to the covering but if the covering underneath gets loose then so will your glue. Send us pics and flying reports!

Almost done - just need to secure the battery pack, mount the reciever and run the antenna somewhere. Any ideas on where to route the antenna?
It came in at 46 oz. with a 9 cell 4/5 FAUP pack. 350+ watts hot off the charger. Should be fun! Unfortunately the runway has to do some serious drying out before the maiden. Lots of rain earlier in the week, nearly two inches last night, and more rain in the forecast :-( |

Very nice Roger, I like the red tips! Good idea for better visability, I should have done the same. Looks nice with the polished aluminum spinner too. Be sure to post your impressions after you maiden it, I STILL haven't been able to fly mine!! Too windy, or too cold.........is summer ever coming?
