Anyone have a Power Lab 8 with paraboard charging 4- 6s 5000 mah at a time? just curious on how long it takes for them to charge.

in your opinion which plane in the 50-60 ish" size does slow and low and violent good? looking at getting something in that size and i want something thats violent but good down low also.

You might have already done this math... but here goes:

Judging by the 1344W number, it should be able to deliver 53A on 6s. That would be 8.8A per battery if charging 6 of them.... so that's about 1.75c.

I would think probably 6 of those batteries in the neighborhood of 30-40 minutes depending on how low you discharge. Of course you could do it faster with less batteries.

51 Slick or 58 Edge IMO.

PL8 will hit a max 0f 40A charge date.......10a per pack on 4 packs....

Answer = fast

yes, I remember somebody trying it for one flight and taking them off. One of my favorite things about the slicks is they don't need SFG's

As others have said there is a 40A max limit. I fly my packs down to storage voltage normally, with Hyperion batt checker showing 20-25% and at 40 A it takes about 23 min to charge 4 6S 5300 GensAce I use for my 104".

Do you have to have a Power Supply to be able to do this??
