I have a iCharger 106b and a paraboard. For those rare days where you don't get to fly all of your packs the 106 with it's 10w discharger takes for ever. This bulb is a 50w 12v bulb and is soldered to my XT60 connector. Can I run the bulb while using the storage/discharge mode? I know it won't turn off at the set level. I may just add a second bulb and connect the balance voltage cell reader to get discharged in the ball park and finish off on the charger. Any suggestions/improvements appreciated.
I don't know about running the discharge function along with your light but the light itself should do a pretty good job at bringing the pack voltage down. If nothing else rig up a second light and plug the pack in the middle of the parallel board. You could just use the parallel board with no other attachments connected that way. You might want to put one of those cheap voltage checkers on your balance tap to monitor the voltage as you discharge.

Good idea BTW. Where did you find the big 50W 12V bulb?

There is a lot of space on the wing side, I don't see 1" a wing side a problem. With the bag standing on it's side and the wing installed there is still 4" before the end of the bag. My stab the way I have it in as one piece is 36" wide with the stab tube installed and there is around 3/4" on each side. If you have an orange Slick they make this bag in orange also.
PM Joe as he has this same bag and have him try his slick in it.

I will get you a brand and part number but we had them at work for 12v track lighting, I was thinking the same thing with the voltage monitor monitor plugged in on the balance line.

No worries that should be enough info. I didn't realize that track llighting was 12V. When I get home I'll stop by the lighting supply place and see what they have.

As you can see in the photo it easily fits the SHP's stabs with the carbon rod installed. There really was not a good place for the stab carbon rod so this worked out nicely. The large side tube pocket for the main wing tube secures just fine for the large tube but I was worried the smaller tube could fall out. The other advantage of the stab going in with the tub is it places the elevator control arms (mine are 2" SWB's) in the center of this pocket where they are not under and side pressure. This is going to work out fantastic. We are 106-108 for the rest of the week so not really going to check it out soon.
Do the SFGs fit in the bag somewhere?
