Guys my ice lite 75 is running a little hotter than i'd like. I was checking out the PWM settings in the Castle link and it says "An increase in PWM frequency will always increase controller temperature." So i'm assuming decreasing it will lower the temp. It's currently at 12khz i was going to lower it to 8khz(unless that is actually increasing the frequency ) What do you guys think?

You didn't say what motor, but I would definitely try 8kHZ, as this works best for most motors anyway...

ordering my LiFe packs for my 30cc plane (going to give the Gens ace packs a shot instead of the genuine a123) i was looking at running dual 2100mah packs but have been told alot of people just run a single 3100mah pack for the ignition and servos. I know the dual setup is for redundancy but in a smaller 30cc plane only running 6 digital servos (2 ail, 2 ele, 1 rud, 1 thro) can i just run the simpler single battery setup?
I fly my 30cc with one 2300 mAh battery for RX and ignition. Charge every 4 flights.

I'm happy with the single battery setup. On my 100cc plane (RIP) I ran dual batteries but that was mostly for the added capacity. The redundancy was a nice bonus though.

I would just run the single 3100 in your 30cc.

We went to the Vetted City Flyin this week end. Taildraggerrc was there. He sells some really nice Servo extensions. Silicon wire 20 gauge. look very impressive.

We have been looking along time for a way to hook up multiple wing servos, that is; reliable, plug and play, cost effective and not a pain to deal with every time you put a wing on. Have seen lots of ways people are doing it, seen lots of good ideas. Some costing into the 100's of $. But none have impressed me like the ones TraildraggerRC sells.

Brought some of these home with us, they are going into our next plane. Looks like a great solution to multiple servo connections.
