Man you guys voting for the Bype video are killing me! I've got the new yellow Velox on order and I haven't seen video of it yet!

I know I should be patient and all... but I'm sure you can relate to new plane excitement. The fact that it's shipping soon just adds to my obsession

And speaking of the 70" shipping soon... I need to place an order today for a BEC to go in it. What is the current opinion on the Castle Pro? I've heard horror stories of weak solder joints on them and that the Western Robotics is the way to go, but it is double the price.

The extra price is justified if it's going to keep the plane safe... but part of me wants to believe the Castle Pro is good enough.

Dang...I didn't know they had 'em in this capacity?!
I've got a bunch of Value Hobby batteries and they are very good quality.
I use 2x 3S2800's in my 58" Edge.
I'm going to get some 6S5000's for my 65" Vyper (as soon as the dean's connector version is back in stock.

Thats what I was thinking about the compacity, giving some longer flight times plus usable for Bigfoot for some longer flights in that rig as well. Oooo parallel them up for an uber long flight, 6s 12400

I'm already going to send it to hitec to get serviced but what does it mean when the servo starts to become difficult to move? Is it burning out but just hasn't fully got to the point to die yet?
The servo motor is going to freeze up, burn up the amplifier chip in the servo and over amp your Rcvr and ESC, cause them to reboot in flight, if it doesn't roll it uncontrollably into the turf before that.

Time to get that out of there. At least you got the chance to see effects and the lockup coming on. I think most of us find out In Air, which doesn't turn out too well usually...
