I wouldn't worry about it, jut keep flying them... other thing that could be throwing you off is wind, are you off-line at the end in the same direction as the prevailing wind?... but again, fear not; being able to just get around a circle is a huge win in itself, being able to tighten and relax turns in the middle of the turn is the next step, but as long as you're practicing you'll get there! Thank you -Going4Speed. That song has alluded me forever since Ben first used it. It is just my kind of music. I think trixie3d could pull off the lead vocalists look w/o any trouble..LOL

A friend at our flying field posed the following question to the vendor he bought his DLE 30 from does the answer sound correct?

I purchased a DLE 30 and have run about gal of gas through it so far, new engine. The other day while flying a muffler bolt worked itself free and a portion of the exhaust port was not covered by the muffler. During that flight the idle engine speed increased dramaticly making it difficult to land. Do you think the muffler had anything to do with that or might I have another problem?

Yes, that could be the reason. I would just try to run it again with the muffler and see how it goes. We’ve had very good luck with all of the DLE engines so I doubt there is a problem. Hope this helps[/I]

Muffler coming loose will definitely cause tuning issues.... Part of the tuning of a two stroke engine relies on back pressure/muffler timing...
