Just installed my new Secraft 6M Wingbolts in the 71 Slick. Of course they showed up while I was at the FunFly wishing I had them for all the planes!

Did have to trim the forward end of the hole on the fuse for the left wing and just a hair off the right side, but they work great! Can spin that aluminum nut on in no time and it really snugs down, bites in! Think I'm going to like this...

Saw that too. I wonder how he likes it as the body is bigger. Nice radio but it's a bit to hold.

I switched to the 18mz about a week ago. It feels a lot like the 8fg but it is heavier and wider. I will still be flying the 8fg too on most of the smaller stuff. The FLI this weekend was the first time I really got a chance to use it. It has a ton of nice features that are not really needed but are sweet to have. My favorite thing about it is the gimbals. They are amazing to say the least. A few people got to try it out at the FLI and everyone commented about the gimbals.

I have them in my 89" Slick, but I used red Loctite to lock the threaded shaft into the nut, then just use them as regular 6mm bolts...

Bigfoot

Rocks!

I had my 1/4 scale Hemple cub with me at FLI and I can tell you that Bigfoot does not fly like a cub. If you have ever flown a big cub then you will know what I'm talking about. Cubs do some weird things especially in spins but Bigfoot doesn't. Roll rate on Bigfoot is perfect. Ailerons are huge. Even post stall control is great. It doesn't feel heavy in the air like the cub does even though it's probably close to the same wing loading.

I don't think it's going to take much tweaking on this one before it goes into production but I'm not a professional. Looks great and is a great flying plane. Gas was OS33 and electric was Hacker A60-6XS on 6S. Both had great power.

There will be some I'm sure. They flew all weekend. Joe was doing low rolling harriers with the electric one and Noll was about 1000ft up putting around

I know several people were taking video
