little more wing, smidge less in fuse presence... they have about the same presence overall really, when on it's side, the Edge looks pretty massive when flying...

Unfortunate hangar accident. My cat knocked over a folding table and landed right in the middle of my wing bag, thank goodness the wing was not in it.... Not happy. I have one thats about 3/4 of an inch shorter and the same diameter and wall thickness but this plane loves the full throttle blender, as you all know. I know if I can not find one I can buy a length and cut it to size.

One question..

the 74Edge..... In Knife edge the nose pulls bad both + & - !

I think it was more nose down in the knife edge...

How do I fix It or is that just cause its a "Edge"

The cg effects the coupling in knife edge. If it if pulling to the gear it is tail heavy if it pulls to the canopy it is nose heavy. If it is not bad than just mix it out and fly. my edge has very little mixing and flys strait as an arrow even in high alfa knife edge.

"pulling" usually refers to up elevator as it's pulling on the stick... "pushing" being down elevator. Was your Edge pushing to the gear or pulling to the canopy?...

as Skippy says, it's a lot dependent on your CofG placement as elevator trim used to maintain normal level flight has the biggest impact. If you can move the balance forward a little it will be reduced. But if you like where the CofG is for other reasons, then simply mix it out as the next trim step.

I flew some trim flights on mine today also did a little mixing... now she's all as straight as an arrow, super nice. Actually a pretty darn awesome plane for flying nice straight lines with. As you said though, part of it being and "Edge", is the rather high wing position which does induce some need for mixing.

He may be talking about when the nose bobs up and down on the yaw axis due to over control of the rudder in knife edge.

89 needs a smidge... does it need it in both directions?... AJ's personal setups are more than "slightly" nose heavy... on the Edge for example his CofG is a clear .75" ahead of Joe's.
