Ya, I have done it several times. In fact my first date with my wife was a hike to Angels Landing. It's a great hike because what you see is a pretty high payoff for the effort.

Anyone know the going rate to have a plane recovered? I'm probably gonna buy the 60" Fliton Extra Freestyle in the classifieds, but the pink and purple will have to go......

That da-150 powered extra is scratch built!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!! That is so amazing. What plans did he use?
It would be neat to build a plane that big from a kit but it seems those kits are almost the same price as an ARF. |

Would a Specktrum AR 7000 with satelite reciever work OK in a gas 89" Slick. A friend at the flying field has re built and refurbished an old 89 of mine and was wondering if it would be OK ??

"Probably", but I think I would like a little more assurance due to the cost of the plane...
If flying with JR/Spektrum, I would fly with at least an R921 or AR 9100 04 AR9110...IMO/YMMV I am using an AR9100 with four satellite receivers.. SteveT |
