Hi

I've used neat acrylic paint (brushed on) the odd area needed two coats but on the whole it covered very well

it's dark purple not black. it dried darker than expected but looks ok. i'm going to order some white adhesive piping to seperate the green and purple too

the battery hatch shuts with a solid clunk due to the 5mm magnets

i'ts foggy here at the moment so the first flight will have to waite

I tried to fly it the other day. ....

full power and it shot out my hand. it instantly torque rolled into a knife edge and before I could correct it the inevitable happened. frozen mud is quite a bit tougher than depron ..

the nose broke off. the motor broke loose and took a chunk out the left elevon and the canopy has a massive dent it it

i've glued the nose and motor back on and tidied the other bits up. doesn't look too bad

will try again soon
