I found a nice lightweight 2.5" ball for a canopy. Now I can bail in the dew covered grass, and my 4-n-1 board stays nice, and dry.

Great ideas here for mQX bodies.

Here are 3 that I have tried. The original one just got an orange tape job on the front to help orientation. The round one got gold paint and then tape, again mostly to help orientation outdoors, The third one, the www.parkflyersplastics.com Interceptor body, currently on the quad, got orange and yellow masked spray paint with tape and decal accents.

The egg is a recent purchase, but is likely a bit too big and heavy to work with. Even my wife can't throw out any plastic packaging lately, without looking at it from a few different angles to check for mQX canopy possibilities!

i tryed to make a micro ducted quad but failed can anyone point me to some good 1s lipos please?

Try mounting EDF's higher off the ground and install an intake ring on each one for more thrust

Might need to go 2s vs only 1

I agree 2s is the way to go with this but you might blow the board.

Im worried about that I think both of you are correct by the way 2s would sort it out but there is a strong chance it would be ONE good flight dont know if the motors or fets on the board could take 2s yet alone the rx

these electronics are too hard to come by o take the risk! next attempt non ducted quadto shave move weight

yes i have you are looking at the 32bit Rome board in the video NOT 4bit mqx board thats why its so rare? i have 1 of 2 released
