Well worth the investment, I have ony just started, not a pro a this, and will more likely not glue, but velco front and rear together and keep the bat in, a few extra steps, but well worth it.

I like thestyle much better than the Blade, gives a much better feel, and hoping to last a lot longer than the orginal. which already has a hole in it Lol, nothing lasts forever, and tape can help.

I would love to have a Alegators head with the jaws opened like you see in any silvouniers shop because I have one on my shelf Lol just a thought that came to my mind.

I had some 1.5mm carbon rod and planned the total anti-crash extreme system.
This is my first ever try (if is a dumb idea, sorry), but in the future I will make it better if will find another rod, another ideas from you and go to supermarket again.
The black tape is to ensure better the holes, to add some friction to the rods and in that area I take it in the hand and I hope the paint to be more durable because not touched by my fingers.

I hope some experienced users to go under 86grams (battery included) maybe using another materials. But experienced users don't crash, no?

I used the X rods configuration if I want to put on the front some ball for better orientation. Of course with some 8 floating lightweight balls, you can fly over the water and it will land like a water spider.

£15 for bit of moulded thin plastic you were robbed

I agree.

Me too, OK if you like that sort of thing and you have lots of money.
Even then I think it just adds more Profile Drag and will affect the high speed turns and petrformance in wind.
There are Youtube vids from Advanced MQX flyers that back this up.
