Sorry for so many posts...

I'm not sure a DLE-30 on a ~15 lb plane is a good idea. Would definetly fly it but pullout from hover would probably be unimpressive. I think the DLE-30 puts out ~17-19 lbs thrust.

yeah, so the weight of the 10S electric is looking a little better to me. Plus I already feel limited in where I can fly my gas plane so I'd like to stay electric to be able to fly at electric only events like SEFF.

I don't want to do smoke on this plane so the longer flight times are the only thing drawing me to gas.

I can get two flight pack setups from HK for about $200. Charging these at 2C shouldn't be a problem so if I have power at the field I'm at, I usually do, if I can talk or fly someting else between flights I can probably have one flight pack charged before I finish flying the second so maybe 4 batteries will last me a little while.

maybe I'll do A123 for receiver instead of CC BEC Pro.

This is the off topic thread so you don't have to apologize for too many posts

I don't think so, not yet but I'm thinking the Hangar 9 float kit might work

Thanks a bunch for that. I got one on the way. I paid $15 more than you but I don't have much patience

Nice vid Wamsy, Thanks.

We need a sticky post that contains all your tutorials. That would be awesome!

And the voice over was an excellent idea, very well done.
