they are perfect for the 89 in terms of capacity and weight. the 72 feels a tad heavier, but still has 3D legs. I'm spoiled by flying the 72 on 4000 mah packs--butterfly floaty, great for calms days. the 5500 is great for wind and copious amounts of throttle use.
LOL. I'm not prejudice either.

Awesome flying, Wamsy. As usual.

I was out at the field all day just noodling around, little precision practice, lotta 3D, just a have lots of fun kind of thing. Everyone is setting up for the pancake breakfast there, I kept 'em entertained for a while. Haha.

It was a great night, no wind and got to fly my 42 slick for the first time. What a great plane. Thanks for the help Marc! I can see why everyone loves them.

heritageflyer and other mcp flyers,

after each crash check head linkages, main gear, swash, and any twisting of the tail. Usually everybody makes the boom out of solid rod and .5"-1" longer to help with tail blowout when loading up the head/motor.

Make sure your travel adjust for the pitch channel is 75% BOTH ways meaning move the collective up/down. I usually fly at 100% throttle and linear pitch curve and some where around 30% expo on the right stick and something lower like 15% on the rudder since it doesn't piro all that fast.

I'm loving the 48 EPP edges. They're so goofy and fun.

Ok.... So this is for all the golfers out there... I've been thinking, that since we had the paintball shoot out at SEFF, how about throwing golfers into the mix? See if you can shoot down a plane with a golf ball.... What do y'all think of that?
