skarface I have started my van with two 4s lipos in parallel. These were old tired packs. I actually used my paraboard with jumper cables connected to the male bullet connectors. I tried with one battery but it wasn't quite strong enough by itself because my car battery was completely drained and was pulling off a lot of the current. When I connected the second pack to the paraboard it started no problem.

I started my car one time with just one 4s 2650 pack when the battery wasn't quite so low. Lipos are plenty capable of putting out enough current to start a car as long as it doesn't have to crank and crank to start.

Quick one for anyone who has built the 87". On the rudder horns, did you trim the last hole, like on the elevator and ailerons horns, or did you leave the two holes, and put the ball link in the outer hole. If I have to trim it, I would prefer to do it before installing it in the rudder.

Thanks!

I cut mine so it is just the inner hole (see here) I am using a 3.5" arm and get the 45║ throw at 100% servo travel. If you are going 4" arm you could use the outer.

Had a heli fly in at our field today. Jamie Roberson and JC Zanki did some demos. Not a real heli guy but these guys are pretty good!

Yah I thought about editing it out. But it adds a bit of wow to the video.

The video has plenty of wow with Joe's flying --- but that was a nice bonus.
