Seen a lot of those.....normally caused by the elevator servo failing....in fact, I don't think I have ever seen one of those planes that hadn't been broken in half right behind the canopy,, normally caused by the elevator servo....

Ding Ding Ding we have winner folks. My elevator servo was the issue. That is exactly what it looked like when I walked up to it.
I got mine when they first came out. It seems they have alot less problems now. The problem is when you buy one from anywhere but horizon directly you have no clue of it is an early one or a recent one. They say the rectified the issue but neglected to rebadge the newer servos so people could tell the difference. Not all failed so I guess they hope to sell off the remaining planes from the early stock. That's Big Business I guess. Now mine just hangs on the wall. I have hitec 5085's in the tail and a new carbon reinforced fuse. Just left a bad taste in my mouth and the Koolaid is soo much better.

Looks like my 51" will not make the journey down to SEFF.

I got to looking at it and realized it needs to be retired. Maybe a Yak to replace it with.
