The Hubsan is a lot of fun. I'm having a blast learning to fly in circles in the living room. I was always bad with orientation with helis but I'm getting better with this.

Haven't had a lot of time to play with it yet, but easy enough to hover... Shouldn't be too bad to fly as I used to fly helis...

One thing about it, it is cheap!

That price sounds good! For the lipo, you need a lipo that is specifically made for the dx8. Don't buy any other lipo. You'll see when you get the radio. I can't link as I am on my phone, but go to horizonhobby.com and look up the lipo for the dx8. There are others out there that are cheaper too, but make sure they are made for the dx8.

FWIW, I'm using the stock nimh battery in my dx8 and it has been great!
