I did get to see a doe smack the side of a friend's van tonight. LOL
We left the camp at the same time, and I was right behind him. The deer ran into the road, turned and ran along side his van for a few paces, then decided it was clear to go ahead and cut across. Ran right into the sliding door. It was hilarious watching it flail about! It got up and ran away, no doubt embarrassed by its miscalculation.

Deer are just big dumb squirrels. Or so I've been told.

That's probably one of the more accurate descriptions I've heard.

Got some flying time in on the 72 today. It's mostly lazy flying, since the GT33 isn't broke in yet, but here ya go.

72 Extra (3 min 22 sec)

I did use the spc port as suggested by a Hitec user/dealer. The voltage never had a chance to sag during the 20 seconds before I lost contact with my plane. The receiver is going back to Hitec and the transmitter back in the box. No offense to Hitec users, I know alot of you have had great expereinces, but I'm a JR guy and I'm just gonna stick to what works for me.

there is no problem with that, I am just interested to know what caused the failure as I use the same system.

I wish I knew what happened. Everything was done strictly by the book. Oh well, time to work on getting a new airplane

I was riding my Suzuki QuadRacer a few years back on a trail at the Hollister Hills Off road vehicle park (outside of Hollister, CA.) and had a big buck come up the embankment from my right hand side, and cross right in front of me, and continue up the embankment on my left side....I don't know who it scared more, me or him. I am quite sure hitting a deer doing about 60mph on a Quad would be absolutely no fun!!!

I had a small deer actually run into me as I rode past on my gsxr-750. I saw the deer on the side of the road near a culvert between 2 onion mucks. I had a bad feeling and was on the brakes hard as I came upon it. Of course it decides to cross at the worst time. Plowed right into the side of me striking my thigh. It pushed me to the tiny shoulder of the road but I got stopped with the rubber side down.
I also hit a bird at 110 on the same gixxer. Luckily it just grazed my shoulder. I had blood on my jacket to show for it. Very luck both times.

Lucky! I hit a blackbird on my bike one day at 85. Took it right to the chest, and it felt like Holyfield had punched me. Lol
