Weenie roast at zarks!

ok there is a weenie roast/fun fly this sunday oct. 14 at the zarks flying feild in zanesvill ohio. if you come(which you are 100% allowed) you need to bring hot dogs and other things to roast over a fire. there is NO i repeat NO landing fee and food is free. the fun fly weenie roast begins at 1:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS:

http://ohio.hometownlocator.com/maps...%20airport.cfm scroll down to the map part and hit the satelite button to see it will be much easeir to understand. anyways you have to turn onto VICKERS HILL DR. off of sr 146 between sr16 in zanesville. go 1.5 ish miles and there is a big sign on the right that has a big red bipe on it and says ZARKS.

if the weather is bad it will be re-scheduled to the next sunday.

40amp will work ok. With a 12x6 prop, going on memory, you will pull about 37amps peak. And about 28 amps constant. I would put the 40amp in and fly it, don't think twice about it.

It also depends on your battery. If you have a high C rated one, it will hold more voltage under load causing the motor to draw more current. I burned up a 36A Thunderbird with the 72g and a 12x6 prop. You might be all right with a 40A, but it's good to have some headroom. A wattmeter would be good to use here.

sorry, forgot to specify that I was using a 20c 3s 2200mah Lipo. Obviously anything over 20c would increase amp draw.
