Any ideas?
Answer to the "problem" cant be yes or no
I was once told that a plane ejected its battery and on a fast dowline the prop spun very fast and back fed electricity into the system allowing for a quick flare to landing. I have no idea if this is true but would be fun to experiment with. I was told that if you use a starter for like nitro engines you could spin an electric motor and it would power the plane.

I highly doubt this is possible, just a rumor that I heard.

Yea I heard this rumor also.

Though the guy I heard it from is a little crazy.

I thought back emf was opposite in voltage to the input voltage? I assume most ESCs would have diodes to prevent backflow. I'll have to ask one of the BLDC motor guys at work tomorrow.

I heard that you can turn an electric golf cart motor into a cold fusion confabulator. But don't quote me on that.

True story. I built a wind tunnel for my seventh grade science fair project. It was pretty badass, if I do say so myself.

It happened to Devin... he tested it by getting a starter motor for a nitro plane and spinning the prop; the plane turned on. I'll do this myself at some point for giggles, but is a good enough account for me... the dude is otherwise a skeptic

I think you should turn that 87 into an all out 3DFPV ship!
