they're printed on the clear sheet. to get them looking as sexy as possible, need to cut around the image as close as is practical. no need to go too fanatical, cutting a 1/8-1/4" away from the image looks pretty sweet.

Oh! I only put stickers on the 70" slick...also donated some 70" slick stickers on the 42" which I broke the landing gear on today. Damn crappy battery.

I would say off so you can trim it out without the affect of the sfg's.

ON for sure...in my opinion. All of Scott's designs that I've owned with SFG's seem to have better KE and less coupling with them on....for me anyway....I like the harriers better with sfg's too. I've had about all of them....but a 72. I like SFG's on the 48epp, 57, 58, 74, 68, 87, 103, and 119.....which ones did I miss except 72?

I've about decided for sure that 3dhs planes that include them fly best for me when I use the SFG's.

Just a thought but if it does better with the SFG's on would you not want to trim and mix it with its "bad" tendencies and then it would be even more of a rock star once the SFG's are back on?

Another vote for on, not that you you will be disappointed without them. I have them on my 87" and 47" SHP and love them.

I think you want to trim any plane in the configuration you plan to fly it.
I vote for trimming with them on. It won't trim "better" if you first fly without the SFG's- then put them on after trimming. In fact doing so could change your trim in a few respects after putting them on.

You are correct...it does change things slightly....that's why you trim and mix the plane IN the configuration you are going to fly it.....For example...the KE mix may require more without the SFG's....then you put them on and it pulls canopy....because you set the mix one way and then fly it another...

another example....on a different topic....would you trim a plane to fly on one size battery then change the battery? Say, 3s to 4s?

I try to trim a plane in the configuration that I always fly it....to get the best results anyway.
