I've got you all beat. $63/mo for <1 meg down, <.25 up DSL. One of the downfalls to living in the sticks. I'm getting ready to switch from AT&T to Verizon, where I can get a 4G card that is about 3 times faster than this garbage I have now.

I just moved to the new "nice" addition in town. Went from paying $20 a month for like 3mbps DL (more than enough for me) to paying $35 for .5MBPS download.... not cool.

Surprisingly enough the small town where I live is rolling out fiber to residential areas. I'm getting 8.29 Mbps down and 1.46 up. And I pay about $45/mo.

Ya, 3G VZ in the camper with the 3G Card on the Laptop is way faster than the Fiber and T1's at work or this at home. I did notice though at the last campground at Marblehead, it was Swamped in the evenings. Too many users on one tower and we were close to the tower. Too many Smartphones and iPads. When all the campers pulled out on Monday it was great!

Is there a usage limit on the 4G card? I have an AT&T wifi hotspot with a 5gb monthly limit. I usually don't come anywhere close to that, but I use it mostly for browsing, email, etc., in places where I don't have wifi.

Where the heck is Derby, anyway?

I don't know about usage limits, I haven't gotten that far along in my research. I'm planning the switch once iPhone5 is released. I would stay with AT&T and get a card with them, but the cheapos (trying to keep it "G" rated....) won't even deliver 3G service in my area, so a card from them would be worthless.

Diggity is right. If I'm driving, it's an hour to Louisville, and an hour to Evansville. If anyone else is driving, it's 1.5 hours.
