Better send the boats to save Bigfoot and Littlefoot. Pick up Jim too if there is enough (Capacity) in the boat......

Fall FunFly at Doylestown, OH. tomorrow. Home of 8ft Corn this year!

Low 70's and 6-10 West to NW winds, pretty much down the runway from the direction I like it. Anticipating some Super Slow HAKE with the 57 and the 71!

I think I've been to this field more than any of the others in the last 3 years. Always a Fun time, Limbo, Spot Landing, sometimes Balloon Bust. Either Corn or Beans every year. Good Grillin' too!

You worded that wrong......should be ...."is there "anybody" in north Texas??" Just lots of Armadillos and tumble weeds.......

Just kidding of course...I actually like north Texas, around Palo Duro canyon, and that great history and science museum in Amarillo..... But it sure can get cold, windy and icy in the winter there!!

For less than the cost of one engine you can do a fully decked out 89" Slick.....or even bigger.....too much money for me.....my hands would really shake flying that plane!!! Though I suppose as jets go, the Wart Hog would probably be one of the more stable ones.....

Playing in a hobby, and working on a hobby....two different things.....That is one of the reasons I got out of the hobby a few years back.....As noted, I used to build planes for people, but it got to the point I had no time to build any for myself...and when I crashed the last flyable plane I had, and had three on the building tables I was building for other people....I couldn't take the time t build anything for myself.....then it became a job, and no longer any fun.....

Yeah...but at a "normal" flight time of around ten minutes or so....that is still around 150 flights (and I wouldn't think that would be a plane you would fly every weekend).....and then isn't basically just a clean out and new bearings??? Or is there more to it than that....

Not sure, but the guys who fly jets seem to have all kinds of time and money on their hands. They fly them a lot and they say the 25 hours happens fast.
