I know a guy that runs a 103 on a 42" slick, stupid power and a ton of fun, I would try the 103 on your little edge, that should be alot of fun. I likely wont fly as "floaty" but will tumble better and might handle wind better.

But Rob deserves extra grief as when Daylight savings time comes back and the time difference is less with Hawaii, then he and I end up flying on the sim together quite often.

I guess with Arron, Joe, Rob, plus everyone else that has upgraded, means I should do it soon too.

Speaking of fun... You making your way up here this weekend for simless fun?

Unfortunately I am not. I will most likely be erecting a decent sized set of exterior stairs. Its outside of a strip mall and we have to do it on the weekend.

Well, work is work and it does pay for the fun stuff. Sounds like the temps will be really fair for that sort of work for you.

Yeah as a welder you have to get used to the temps. It's still hard to take when its 100 though so I am glad it got postponed untill now due to design issues. We were supposed to do it during that heat wave we had.

My welding ability is limited to Autobody and light fabrication. On a 100 degree day, that is too much heat to mess with for me.

Well, I had another hs-65mg servo fail on me today. Luckily, it happened on my pre-flight check. It just stopped working, and then started to smell pretty bad. This time it was on the right aileron. Anyway, I'm done with 65mg's. I just don't trust them anymore. I just ordered 4 Spektrum A3040 servos. They're digital!

Hey guys, anyone using a ZTW esc on the epp yak or extra?

I picked up a 70amp one to try in the Yak. It seems like the wires to the battery are pretty short. I am trying to decide if I am just going to put an extension in it, or do something else. Curious to see/hear what other folks did. Also, what about the leads to the motor. Are they a little short too?

I have the 60 ztw in my extra. The wires are short but they make it through the cut out.
