A plane from MIT that can fly it self but inside a parking garage using no GPS. It basically scans the environment and flys in the open places.
That is cool. Also look up the autonomous quadcoptor's.

I've seen the quads to formation flying and stuff but a plane in a random parking garage without any sensors in the environment is the crazy part!

Here is a video doing a walk through at the IMAC contest this past weekend.

At the begining you see a 72" extra with my purple aeroworks 100cc edge next to it. Then I wave at the camera around the 1:05 mark. Then at the end you see what was burned that night

Cincinnati Burnit 2012 walk along (2 min 13 sec)

Everything's great. I've just been really busy this summer doing things other than flying
I've been working as a caddy at a local country club for three years and this year I've really started to take up golf in my free time, so between that and work I haven't had much time or interest in flying.

So I'm going to sell the Extra and keep the Edge because I know I'm not done hucking yet.

How's it going with you guys? I haven't been following any of the threads for a looong time. Any more sponsors wamsy?

I couldnt get a job here in NC until i was 15 but on the day i turned 15 i had my workers permit and started my first job bagging grocerys at the store up the street from me. I had it all lined up way in advance.... i started bugging the store manager for a job when i turned 14.... you have to find a place you can get to either on foot or on your bicycle and look everyone in the eyes while you're talking to them so they know you are serious.

It was amazing how much extra money i could make in tips when taking grocerys out to peoples cars..... people like to be talked to and complimented.

I could easily double my pay from the store in tip money every week.

Good luck on your job search.... set your mind to it and you can do it.... failure is not an option if you really want that 71" slick

Considering I look like a 16 y. o. and am taller than the average person (6'3") I'm sure it will help the cause!!

There is a culvers about 1 mile away, or the body shop down the street.
Can't work at the gas station since they have cigarettes.

+2! I get so excited when I see the bipe thread bumped.

I'm taking my mind off of it by building the 70" Velox.
