I haven't rooted an Android device yet but was in IT for ten years and have re-loaded cooked roms on other mobile devices. I think the hardest part will be finding a decent forum and then filtering through all of the radio wars.....
I personally like XDA (http://www.xda-developers.com/) for my Android devices. There are a lot of helpful people over there and some well lets say that are not so much but every forum has them. I am actually looking into changing into an IT career. Just looking into how to do it feasibly. It is getting harder and harder to keep all my ends met in my current career. Currently looking into getting some certifications first.

Thanks for the link.

Certs are great and required for some positions but experience and knowledge count way more. There are a lot of paper IT professionals out there that couldn't troubleshoot a cold. If it were me and I could re-wind I would do either a Cisco Cert or some type of Database class. Both of those guys pay off in the long run. Weren't you asking about coding a few million pages back or was that someone else from the SW?

Anybody been up near the Arctic circle before? This is just weird I work the night shift and it doesn't get dark. From about 3am till about 4am it gets like dusk but you can still see clearly outside. Its 4:40am right now and its already light again. Definately freaky. My wife laughed at me yesterday when I told her it was still light out at 3am.

I flew missions out Thule, Greenland when I was crewing RB-47's in Oct. 1956.

Air Show Disaster - AIRCRAFT HITS FOUR BUILDINGS

This is tough to watch. It just shows the dangers of attending these events.
Amazing photo below shows great detail.
The pilot at low level had no control over his aircraft.
It narrowly misses a crowd gathered for the air show and slams into four buildings.
One can only imagine the horror of the occupants inside those buildings.

No one was killed but, probably scared the poo out of them.

That should be a sport. Hot air balloon bowling or more like... curling. Yeah. Curling! It would be about as exciting to watch but when they finally do collide, man that would be so worth it!

They're normally pretty quick, but their site doesn't always tell you if an item is out of stock. I placed a large order awhile ago and when they sent me the shipping notice it listed a couple of the items as backordered, there was no notification at time of order or before shipping the other items. I didn't get the remaining items for 3 weeks afterwards.
