Is there a thread for the 126" Slick either here or on FG?

I haven't had any luck with the search tool...

Nice John!!!

Thing is fast and sounds like a Wood Router!

Here's my Day 3 Power Outage vid from this AM. First inside hovering on new Solid CF Boom, but the Quick Grip didn't hold, so just CA'd. The frame hole is a little fragile and off. Seems solid now. Went out into garage for more room and cooler temps. 90 in the house right now with all windows open.

Generator on, no water, just keeping Fridge cool since Friday 7pm. Gassing Generator every 3 hrs. Still 69% out in our County. Saying 90% back on by Thurs Midnight this week.... Worst ever around here!

I need a 240v Generator to run the well pump. It's Going to Happen!

My plug went last night and this AM the Recoil Starter broke. Had to remove it, so improvised. Flip starting it like a GS Engine.....

Bullet connector safety covers.....

Check these nifty covers I found that fit Castle 6.5mm bullet connectors perfectly....

I do business with a machine shop supply that has little plastic tubes that they put drill bits etc. in. I happen to notice that the two sizes that they normally use had some ends on them that when pulled off fit the bullet connectors. So...on Friday I went to the supply house and asked if I could buy some of the tubes or ends, and they end up giving me about fifty of each size....and even better, the smaller size which is black, fits the male plug which is what I use on the negative side, and the larger size which is red fits over the heat shrink tubing tubing on the female connector on the positive side!!

While I have not tried to find them anyplace other than where I got them, you might be able to get them at Tap plastics or other places..

dude...check and re check your linkages for any kind of binding. believe me, I've been through just about every 65mg alternative and for the moment they are the best.

I feel your pain though I really do.

I am jealous I can't seem to kill them anymore.

I recently fell in love with the 47" shp and I have never been so hard on servos. The hs65mgs in it have over a hundred extremely hard flights and they are still going strong.

I had quite a bit of trouble with them for awhile. It is extremely important to make sure there is zero binding. It is sooo easy to get binding in E/Z connectors and ball links. Also when you are hinging the plane, make sure you leave a nice little gap. The servos should make ZERO noise when the surface is fully deflected. If they are making any noise, then they will probably fail in the air. Noise means the servo is struggling just to move the surface. Then you go and add the pressure of the air on the surface, and it kills the servo.

I also run mine at 6.5 volts and haven't killed one since I started doing that.

All I can say is that the HS65MG doesn't have an issue and I know this because with a proper setup, they will last a really long time even being pushed really hard.

I thought I was really good at setting up planes but was killing servos. Ended up finding out that I was really bad at setting up linkages.
