Conbones

Conbones,
That is a pretty slick set up you have there. I think if I do add rudders I will just cut a hole under the rear stab and add two servos.

I know about swapping the motor wires. I was just hoping to keep counter rotating motors to cancel any torque roll.

Does anyone see any issues with turning both motors the same direction with big props like this? Thanks again.

Will the Carbon B-3 (I call it Code-Name Watermelon) fly? We will see...

That is all.

Ya gotta admit, its different!

It will be interesting to see what happens when you try to fly it, will the canard and the stab/elevator be working against each other?

I sure hope not. If so, I will just loose one. I put the canard on there for extra lifting surface, and so that I can move the CG forward a bit with extra batteries or a GoPro.

Maiden of delta wing

Saw Ed's delta wing video and was inspired to build it, so glad I did because it is an insanely fun flyer!

Here is the video of the maiden flight :-)

Would you please give the exact specs on the motor you used on your delta? I think I am way underpowered.

This is the motor I use: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ner_Motor.html

Battery is a 2200mah 3s 30C, prop is 6x4 apc style. I use a 45A ESC because I use a 7x5 prop with this motor sometimes and it can pull 40A.

I can hear the UFO reports coming in when you fly it.

especially with the flashing LED's I'm going to put on the nose! nothing like 500-600 lumens to make a UFO!

Hello Asymair95

I believe you have it right if you use standard props and have the 2 motors turning opposite directions no torque or very little, Should fly sweet. This is and example I found 3 weeks ago very interesting pic. they seem to close to me but I have never done more then 1 motor. Good Luck.
