I would not even try, there are plenty people that HATE anything that flies RC, so do'nt give them a reason to make life even more difficult for us..........still a great idea though!!

Looks like a nice light Westerly predicted for Sunday.

Bruce, hope to see you at Signals, I will be heading out at about 11am with the Alula.

I've still got to get up there and see it with my own eyes.
I still got to find someone to show me where the path starts at the road and accumulate that motivation for the hike up..

Its good Alula weather at the mo. 9km/h NW.

It always seems a bit wierd watching Alulas fly when it is light and you can hear those servos going for it..

I have noticed that the wind direction has changed, which is perfect for Signals. Tomorrow's prediction is SW, but can still change, so it looks like I might not get my fix.

Yep, the servos sounds like a squeeking bird.

I use the servos from DF.......I think they are Blue Bird........and they do make PLENTY noise!

Thanks, I see it is a bit of a tight fit, but it will pay off.

There was a perfect Westerly on Signal hill on Sunday and I could'nt make it.

Hopefully Bruce or some of the other members can enlighten us.

I see you guys had a blast as usual.

It was a westerly all right - by the time I got there it was over 30 km/h and after a brief flight with my Alula I decided it was Bee-time. Hardly spotted any AFC guys, but there was a contingent from the TOSS club.

I did not get in the air this weekend. i did get to Signals on Sunday but not to fly. my daughter needed touristy pics for a school project. i did see all the TOSSers and took the lip they gave me that there were no AFC guys flying there... Ag well. These things happen.
