FMS 1400mm FW-190 Part II

I have closed the original thread that was located here. Reason being aside from the downward spiral the thread has taken the past week; itís mostly pre production banter.

If you feel the need to spew about a vendor please either go to the appropriate section of RC Groups (Vendor forum).

Thanks

what scale would you consider this to be? would it be a good complement to a 1600mm P-47?

I do so hope your actions were not bought by someone not enjoying some bad press as there was a lot of good stuff in your original thread!

The cowl fan looks pretty cool - wonder how much drag it will add to the power train?

If it moves air - it will drag on the motor.

Not enough to notice on a watt meter though. Not that many fins at the low rpm it is turning. Now if it was spinning at 40,000 rpm it would strart pulling.

Craig
+1 if threads were closed everytime there was some vendor bashing.... I agree with Craig there was alot of good info about the input and development of the model. Kudos and respect goes out to Bernhard and his buddies for all the hard work they put in to get this plane to where it is.
Just because a handful of people simply can't keep their mouths shut (or fingers off the keyboard)....you've gone and ruined (which has resulted in the closing) of what otherwise was a pretty good thread
