Thanks FC!

Got a run in w/amps (hi), BL rpm, temp, two kinds of volts.

Swapped the EC3s out to APP my standard and crimped the Flight Pack voltage leads with the pack side of the Hi Amp sensor.

Now just got to get familiar w/display & logging.

PS: the BL rpm is by Eagle Tree.

hello

today i test the dx18qq with my models with ar9000 DSM2
many frame loss read on flight log for each antenna over 400...then f=999 but H=0

dx-18 is set in dsm2 mode

i test same model with my old mx.22 with 12ch spektrum tx module (mc24)
then all receiver fades give under 20 packet loss each antenna f=0 h=0

is normal on dx18????

No, normally the DX18QQ would have very few if any fades.

If your DX18 test up to 30ft ok but not over then yes you should send it in since it should be 90ft.

A hold only occurs when you get 40+ frames lost in a single block.

If you had 39 frame losses in a row, you wouldn't have a hold, but you'd have F=39 and H=0. Do it again and you'd have F=78 and H=0. And so on.

30 ft ~= 9m, 30 yards ~= 30m.

If you're having that bad of a connection, I'd get it taken care of rather than wasting time on a forum! Box it up!

1. With the model restrained on the ground, stand 30 paces (approx. 90 feet/28

.
2. Face the model with the transmitter in your normal fl ying position and place
the transmitter into Range Test mode (see above) and push the trainer button,
reducing the power output.
3. Operate the controls. You should have total control of your model with the
transmitter in Range Test mode.
4. If control issues occur, contact the appropriate Horizon Product Support offi ce
for assistance.
5. If performing a range test while a telemetry module is active, the display will
show fl ight log data.

I believe if you look closer the manual states "30 paces".Avg pace is about 3 ft so that would be 30yards or approx 90ft.
