I suggest you obtain an ABC fire extinguisher.

You mean to tell me you charge your flight packs at what? 1/4c? And it takes you 50~60 hours per pack??? Seriously buddy! Get a clue!

So far I've charged the 2600mah stock lipo that came with the dx18 at .5c (1.3mah) it didn't get hot or anything and it only took me 45 minutes to charge. I think it's a great alternative to charging these packs.
Andy, could you chime in on this? I've phoned product support at HH and was told to start conservatively with the charge rate, but that it should be just fine handling even 1c charge rate.

PS: Seriously you may damage your batteries and start a fire parallel charging carelessly like that.[/QUOTE]

No one told me parallel charging was dangerous!

Yes it can be very dangerous if you can't read the small print on the charger screen to confirm you have selected the right settings.

But this topic would be better suited for the battery section of te forum.

I would not recommend it. The balancer is internal to the battery. If there is a mismatch between the cells, one cell's power is going to be turned to heat. We have a low-current charger for a reason.

Fair enough. So if I set my lipo charger to 500mah just like the stock power supply that comes with the dx18 I'm ok right?

The power supply (wall wart) can deliver 500mA.

The charger (internal to the tx) limits it to 200mA.

This is the publication that comes with E-Flite batteries, it is folded up and "Hidden" behind the cardboard packaging. I really think many of you should see one in person, it is ridiculously too small print, really, especially considering they are explaining the warnings and dangers of LiPo batteries.

PS: There is printing on both sides.

I dont know why you cant click on it to see a bigger image.

Andy,

How does one reset a sequencer? I can't seem to find a way to just clear everything and start from scratch.
