I was looking at the latest multiplex Profi tx transmitter, which (besides gorgeous looks) also has a fixed, yet fully integrated antenna. No protruding antenna, thats even better than the dx18 antenna. It's the way to go, no doubt.

HK Orange RX/Sat - Backward compatible..?

I assume that the DX18 is backward compatible to all of the HK Orange receivers and their satellite(s)...has anyone tested this yet?

Thanks

Been flying orange recievers on all my fomeys without issue. One thing that blew me away is I took the numbers from my DX-8 and transfered them over to my -18, of course checked movements and then flew it. Is a Koas and I didn't make a single click of trim change. As they always say in the Mag articles, flew right off the board!

Andy,
Any thoughts about adding a right and left rear grip that has more of a "hump"? Maybe not as a stock item but purchased separately? My only complaint so far is how flat the back of the transmitter feels. Flying Sailplanes, I often hold the transmitter with one hand and I like to feel my fingertips wrap around something. Kind of like the JR9503.

Fun Fly today. Went to grab my DX18. Rats, I left it on last time I used it. It's been a couple of days. I figured it would have been alarming at some point? No biggie, the voltage says 7.4 so at some point it must have gone into some sort of battery save mode? I want to do a quick charge so I figure I'll just pull the battery and do a 1C charge on my hyperion. Nope. Yet one more battery connector I have to go out and try to find. Why Horizon?

SIGH.........

I just take the covering off one end of a servo extension,

Exposing the pins. Works fine.
