The Manual

In reading this thread, I didn't notice any reference to the DX18 Manual.

Has anybody compared the Spektrum DX18 Manual to the notorious JR 11X manual?

I know what you mean. Sometimes a picture says the wrong 1000 words!

What I am noticing now is that there is a jump in trim between the master and slave in Pilot Link mode when buttion I is pressed/released.
This is normal. Leave the student in "INH" mode. This will allow you to adjust the trims on the slave so that when control is moved from master to slave that there is no movement.

I do a lot of training and this is exactly what we do on the DX7s's we use.

P-Link Master, INH slave (aka "normal slave").

I think the manual is probably one of the best we've done yet.

Can I get seven point curve adjustments on the 16 programmable mixes. I would like to know if it is possible to mix the elevator to aileron in the helicopter mode using the seven point adjustment curve. I am new at flying helicopters, I have two Blade MCXs' and a Blade 120 SR. In John Salts book on the 120 SR, he programed a seven point adjustment curve on his X9503 transmitter using the elevator to aileron mix to help eliminate the lift dissymmetry. Is it possible to do this with the DX18?

Yes, all 16 p-mixes support 7-point mixes.
