My Cub is in the post

I ordered a float kit too! The biggest water near me is right next to the local Airport so that's probably out of bounds
There is another pond nearby but it is quite small so maybe that can wait till I get better at spot landings

If you guys are talking modelflight...I wonder if they sold out of preorders...I only ordered mine last week so will be interesting to know if I will get mine in their first shipment, not to worry if not...I also ordered 2 other planes I haven't played with yet
Yep Modelflight. I ordered mine a while back now and nothing changed with my order yet.

Guys they are still about 3 weeks away here in Oz and from my trip down to OMP a few months back i saw as the container is being emptied, the Pre -order cartnotes are being printed. At the moment the first shipment is not sold out so all pre- orders will get theirs
Filming the un-boxing in the morning hope to have it up by tomorrow night

cheers chuck

yep i know how you feel but it's out of their hands, the problem seems to be just getting your product "out" of China, we are buying so many products from China these days the docks are full, your container goes on the end of a long line and you just have to wait till your boat comes along ours are on the water as we speak

the good news is i am 100% sure you are going to love this plane and you have yours ordered so will get one, i reckon they are going to sell fast

cheers chuck

Just got mine, from Steve Webb models.
Arrived in the post about 1 1/2 hours ago.
Charged it, set the TX up, bound it.
Flew it.
Hit a tree.
Broke the prop shaft.

Talked to Horizon Hobby today about an unrelated item but thought I would ask about the CC ship date as I had preordered one. They said it would probably be about a week so I shouldn't have to wait too much longer!

It flew great, stable, took off really quick, quite fast, didn't get the chance to slow it down as it hit the tree.

Sorry to hear about that. Hope the CC came out of it okay. Got video?

I'm really curious though - how did a tree get in the way during climbout on the maiden flight?

Talked to my LHS owner earlier today and he said that his first batch is shipping to him on May 4th so he should have them in by early next week. He's got one set aside for me as well as a float set. I think I'll just do my maiden flight on the floats!

Pilot error.
I flew it in the pub car park, surrounded by trees rather than a field with plenty of space.
No video.
The prop shaft broke hitting the ground after falling down from the tree.
No damage to any of the rest of the plane, Glad it was a 2 quid shaft, apparently the same as used on the sbach, rather than the motor mounts.
