Have you thought about cutting some of your own from foam stock to get her flying even if they aren't as scale looking as the originals?

No never thought of doing that. I really dont have the skills to form new wings from foam. I think it would be good to learn though, sure would save me alot of money.

Are you Stateside? Like in USA. There are options in most countries and it wouldn't be so hard.

Then probably easiest to find Dollar Tree Foam local for the wings, and probably a foam take-out container for the tail feathers. You can cold form the wing camber by rolling a 2" or so pipe/rolling pin over it on carpet or a firm couch! Make your templates off a pieced together broken section and use a sharp/new hobby knife to cut. Hinges can be clear tape or fancy as you want. Not too hard and you can cruise the scratch built foamies threads for specifics if needed.

Good luck!

question

if the TX voltage is showing only 9.4 volts, would that cause the anylink not to turn on.
thanks

Not sure what TX you use , but the voltage range for powering anylink is above and below that amount. I'm sure the max is higher than 12 volts and I THINK the minimum is less than 6. I'm still searching to find the doc I can't remember where it was. Your answer is NO.

I use the anylink on the 9x like you.

I just got the plane with AnyLink for $59.95 SHIPPED!!!..I had a $5 credit at Tower Hobbies....For this price you can't really complain....I didn't like how fickle the plane was to launch correctly as compared to the HH AS3X MiG 15....But once the Sabre was in the air I liked how the plane flies...I can't hardly wait to try this Sabre on the new 3S 180mAh NanoTechs that I recently bought...

any link and 9x turnigy

I just flew my f86 with my turnigy 9x
step1 remove the module from it's socket and leave it out.
step2 open tx and move the positive wire (from the center lug charge jack ) to
the otherside of the diode from whence it came.
step 3 you can reverse the polarity if you wish but i left it standard.
step4 reassemble the tx.
step5 make a short wire using a male coaxial plug on one end , on the other end
install a size M female coaxial jack part 274-1577 (radio shack) WIRE IT IN REVERSE POLARITY
CENTER ON ONE END TO OUTSIDE ON THE OTHER END. the female plug
will be + on the outside and - on the inside. then follow the instructions for a jr tx. plug in trainer jack. screen should light up. then plug in power plug. anylink will light up.
plug in jet batt. hear beeps, arm esc, and check controll surfaces and off you go
now all i need to do is set up some parameter on the tx to match my ability.
like mlow rates any suggestions will help.

will fly more tommorrow.

turnigy 9x

did not mention to reverse throttle.
I need some input suggestion from you good flyers.
I set the end points at 100%, dr at 100 with -10 for high and 60 with -30 for low.
Iam only guessing with these numbers.

I want the jet to bank in the direction of the turn how do i set the mixing.i gues the rudder would be master and the aileron would be slave . but to what %. ?
