always one step ahead- I just ordered a machine veloxcnc.com and requested some holes on the router plate so I could attach a bow for planking foam, now you guys are taking it a step further for a dual purpose machine-
great work

That is were the fun really takes a bite.

Very cool guys, I know first hand the work involved in such a project. Do you intend to operate the mill and wire from one gcode file? If so I would love to discuss software options. I've been working tirelessly on a plugin for sketchup to generate code for my machine.

also I like your wire setup.

we or mostly Joergen is the code man in the team.
we generate G-codes direct from Rhino drawings.
you can look at my Draken that I did with Air-sally as Alfa builder.
Or look at my super sling jet project, mostly a hot-wire project.

Finally the end of building now for cutting

After 3 years of learning how to use a metal lath and lots of stuff about construction. In the fine company of ClausXPF and his dogs. We have finally made it to the end.
The CNC / Hotwire cutter has been moved to its final location in my hobby room.

I'm looking forward to many great hours cutting tons of stuff.

This is how the setup is in my hobby room.
