Help!
Super simple mini osd

Hi
I am new to fpv, i have bought the HK 900Mhz 800Mw fpv set.
And that works just fine I have not yet flown it (due to winter here)
In the waiting time i have bought the HK super simple mini osd,and i have a few questions that i hope some of you can help me with.

The wiring from the batteri i think is okay ? pic. 1 (plus/minus corectly soldered)

Now the fun starts, where on the fpv wiring should the osd in/out wires go ? pic 2
I hope you understand my question, i am okay at soldering, but a total newbie
on the electronic. So please if you have an answer keep it simple.

Hope someone out there can help - Thanks
Jan

If you follow this diagram it should help, just dismiss the second OSD.

They are red/+12v, black/ground and white/signal. Now from the camera, hook up the white wire and the black wire to the osd's vid in and ground. Then connect the vid out and ground from the osd to the video transmitter. This should work for you.

Regards

Hello,

I have the same osd and a similar wiring situation. Did the wiring shown in the photo/diagram work for you? I keep thinking it shouldn't work as the battery lead doesn't have a direct connection to the tx via the red lead.

Regards

might - does it show your battery voltage connected like that? you haven't connected anything to the battery input so does it just show the timer?

Heres how i did mine. Remember if your using a 1 battery set up that you may need a LC filter (ferrite ring and Capacitor) to filter the 'noise' from the motor / esc.
