All-right!
Would you say it's a slow flyer (like and easy stick) or fast?
Is it slow enough to fly in a Gym?

Thanks

And I tried plugging a servo into the throttle channel, it moves the servo. I even tried another set for radio gear. same result.

I'm thinking the ESC isn't detecting full movement on the stick?
how long are the we talking for this safety feature, like literally push the stick up and then back and it should be good to go?
or hold it full throttle for a few seconds and then back and wait?
You might try running the throttle trim as far down as it wil go, before turning on the plane. Then, turn on and move throttle to full throw, and then back to idle, and then it should work. If not, check to see if your throttle control is reversed, on the TX.

I'd fly it in a gym. It's about as fast as a Champ, or Playmate. Faster than a Night Vapor.
I guess we'll have to try shooting another movie, tomorrow morning.

If you can find it.....

I tried to post a video of the Atom flying, in the Video Gallery. It shows I have used up some of my alloted space, but damned if I can find the vid.
Anyway, we put some time & effort into proving that pudding, but have been defeated by the technicalities of it all. If you find it, enjoy it, (it is real short).

I can't find it either.
If you would like to post it here, just upload it to YouTube and then post the URL for the YouTube video here and it will be embedded in your post.
Thanks for trying,
hoppy

Thanks, Hoppy!

I hardly ever use things like Youtube and Facebook, although I am signed up with them. In this case I forgot that it was Youtube that I wanted. Anyway, here's the link;

Maybe it will work this time, (FWIW)!
Below is one shot earlier, that will give you an idea of how fast it travels over the ground. (Provide your own sick-sack!)

Truly a pleasure to be able to help! We also learned some things.
You will enjoy the Atom, as it is surely one of today's great bargains.

Got mine today. It's all put together this evening. Now all I need is a calm day for it's maiden!

We have had several days of dead-calm daybreaks of late, but today it has been blowing hard all day! Just have to build something, I guess.
