I've read that you purchased a number of Hobbywing phase sensors direct from Hobbywing.

How well are these sensors performing with the latest Castle firmware releases?

How do they compare to the Castle prototype sensor you have been testing?

Hobbywing sensors are in stock at Helidirect. I just picked up 4 of them. Seems like with 4.01 Vbar gov works really well minus a smooth spool up. So may as well set it up now.

Not anymore.... Does adding it to wish list mean I'm getting one for Christmas?
I'll probably have to wait for the CC sensor. Hope it's worth the time.

Per MrMel he's happy with the soft start solution. And now many of us have 4.xx compatible sensors from HobbyWing. Any ETA on when the next release will come out so we can start the soft start party?

I expect that CC will not release the next firmware until they have their CC Phase Sensors on the market. It’s been a few months so I would expect to see them soon.

I've been following MrMel all over the web on all sorts of forums and from what I read he was told they want to squeeze in another minor update into the next release. I sure hope they are not waiting for release their sensor because that could take another 2-3 month and those of us with hobbywing sensors would not mind using what we have already.

That’s not good news. The last major update took over a year.

Well 4.01 still caused cutouts for me so back to 3.27 I went again. I am through waiting, I will be swapping out my CC from my Logo and going with the Hawk 120A like I have on my Goblin.
