Re the Stanzel unit, I needed it for a long running 3D CAD project. I am drawing a plane in CAD from plans I found in a 1956 magazine. I am trying to stay as close a possible to the specs called out in the original plan.

Haven`t seen him in a long time, but he might still have some of these old monoline units.

I have used the "Flying Lines" type that is pictured. Can't remember where I got it any more. Mike (I think)Hazel maybe. I got one of the sidewinder type too at the same time. We used to use a wire that was the same dia. as the flying line and run it out to the wingtip and solder a horn in the centre with the button nearby. I wouldn't use it on anything much bigger than a .15 and do a pull test often.
