RC car for beginner that might get into RC cars?

hi, I'm new to the RC...

I was wondering what is a good RC car for beginner that are planning to get into RC cars?

I don't want a super duper good one, but then, I don't want a toy one either... I tried the toy ones and I liked it...

More Info Needed

If you expect answers you need to provide more info about what your expectations are.
Indoor or outdoor? Fast or crawler. What size / type of chassis most interests you? What's your budget?

I'm sure if you come back with that type of info you'll get a better response.

Good luck.

sorry... im new to the hobby...
outdoor, but it'd be nice if its both. Something fast, but not too fast. Maybe around 15 MPH.
Something around 16 inches long?
I don't know what chassis there are...

I hope to spend no more than $300.

Whats your take on the Losi Micro? Is that similar to that? I saw it on another post.

You made a great choice. I just bought a micro yesterday and I think it's awesome. I already want another one.

I think that you might like a Traxxas Stampede VXL

It can be set to go 15mph or 30mph top speed as your driving skill increases. I learned to drive on one of these
