ESC binding procedure
Question about Airfield 1400mm Corsair ARF:
Accompanying ESC Manual advises for first time power up of ESC to set throttle at MAXIMUM then connect battery. Do I do this in conjunction with initial bind?

The radios need to be bound before they can talk.
That throttle up start thing sets the throttle range so the radio knows what the full range looks like.
So: Bind first then do another plug-in at full throttle.
The motor shouldn't start, but keep clear and restrain the plane anyway. Or remove the prop.
