Gws C-130

Mr. Lin

I know a GWS C-130 was in the talks quite some time ago but has never actually made it to the website. Was the project scraped or is there still a chance we will see this product.

Thanks
Ryan

That's true, it's why the DC3 was delayed. RIP.

However, I hope they havent scrapped the project altogether, as a C-130 would be AWESOME as long as they keep her with props and dont ruin her with EDFs.

True that on the Hurc, keep the props. Leave the ducted fan to the true ducted fan aircraft. Install the triple blade of course unless you could design a 6 blade prop like the new J model.

No give us a Four blade prop to go with it.
I don't want one of those nasty 'J' things

The J thing is the C-130 model J, it has the latest glass cockpit and improved 6 bladed prop set-up.

Yeah, the cockpit is a big improvement. Although I would probably prefer a 4-bladed setup, maybe GWS could come out with a 6 for those that want them.

Check the Ezone Video magazine. DC-3 is said to be released early next year.

That's very nice - but when does it really hit the shelves of the LHS? The time it takes from first one is seen here in the forums to when it is available anywhere else than in the States is way too looong. But again that is one of the price I have to pay living in Norway… (But I would't cahnge )

GWS DC3 will be sold as or similar price like GWS BN2.

Worth for you to wait to get one!? Not easy to save money at this day, don't waste money for others!

I hope the C-130 makes it - I am awaiting the C-47 eagerly, then maybe a C123?

Of course, all of mine will get dark paint jobs and guns out the left side - time to do a history of the gunship in models......

I would also love to see the C-130 coming from GWS.
Priced as their other models, I for shure would get one.

I work at an Swedish Airforce Base where our Hercs are located.
I see them and hear them everyday.
Best working environment you can get!

In the mean time, some bigger styro C-130 and other cargo planes available at www.rc-zeppelins.com

A GWS indoor hercy would be nice with the GWS EDP50-XC sets, or even smaller with the B2C motors.
